Ashes Urn Locator

Last updated May 4, 2026 · 99ersstudio · admin@99ersstudio.com

Summary in one sentence

This app collects no personal data, uses no analytics, runs entirely on your device, and never sends anything in the background — the only outbound exception is a feedback button you have to tap yourself.

What data we collect

None. The app stores your entries, such as a loved one's name, date, location label, and personal notes, in app memory on your phone or tablet only. We never see them.

What data we send anywhere

Nothing automatically. The app does not contact our servers, third-party servers, or analytics services in the background. It does not require an internet connection to function.

The single exception is the optional feedback button described below, which is only triggered when you tap it yourself and which hands a draft email off to your device’s mail app — never sent in the background, never sent without you reviewing it.

What data the app stores on your device

Whatever you enter, such as a loved one's name, date, location label, and personal notes, lives in app memory only. In this version of the app, your entries are lost when the app is closed or restarted. Future versions may add optional on-device persistence; if so, that will still remain on-device only.

Children's privacy

This app collects no data, so it complies with COPPA, GDPR Article 8, and similar children's privacy frameworks by design.

Third-party services

The app uses none. There are no SDKs for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, attribution, or any other purpose. The optional feedback button below is the only outbound feature, and it talks to your own device’s mail app rather than to a third-party service.

Optional in-app feedback button

In the Settings tab there is a Feedback button. It is fully optional. Nothing happens unless you tap it.

When you do tap it, the app prepares a draft email in your device’s mail app, addressed to feedback+ashes_urn_locator@99ersstudio.com. By default the draft includes the app version, build number, device model, and platform / OS version, so we can reproduce what you saw. You can review the draft, edit it, remove the device info, or close it without sending. We only ever see what you actually choose to send from your own mail app.

The feedback dialog asks once: “May we contact you about this?”. If you check yes, your email address goes into the draft so we can reply. If you leave it off, the draft is sent from a generic anonymous address and we cannot reply directly.

We do not use Firebase, Crashlytics, or any analytics SDK to collect this information. Sending feedback is fully under your control, and the email leaves your device only when your own mail app sends it.

Permissions

The app requests no Android runtime permissions. The Android system grants the app a baseline set of permissions automatically; none of these are used to collect data about you.

Your rights

We do not passively collect any data, so there is nothing for us to disclose, port, or correct on your behalf. If you have voluntarily sent us a feedback email and you want it deleted, email admin@99ersstudio.com with the subject line of the original message and we will delete it from our mailboxes and our internal issue tracker.

You can uninstall the app at any time, which removes all in-app data from your device.

Changes to this policy

If we ever change how the app handles data, for example by adding analytics, cloud sync, or ads, we will update this policy and the app's store listing.
